FRD x Grassroots Pantry – food education x cooking demo: In celebration of Food Revolution Day, you are invited to learn how to “eat clean” without breaking the bank! Grassroots Pantry will teach you how to stock up on healthy pantry staples at the best prices; how to read labels and make sure your ingredients are safe and nutritious; and how to cook three beautiful and healthful, vegan dishes that will nourish you, body and soul. Chef Peggy will demonstrate recipes for Veggie-ful Miso Soup, Black Bean Fried Brown Rice, Quick-Pickled Greens, and Berry Preserves; and you’ll get to try them all!
