吃海藻燃燒脂肪!!!

早前談到JO養生法的4 大部份:

  1. 充足睡眠 (晚上10 時睡覺)
  2. 減少飲酒 (只在週末淺嚐)
  3. 適量運動 (一星期兩次)
  4. 定期進食海帶、果仁、雞蛋、香草

今期續談海帶。

海帶,即是食用海藻類。我們的祖先已食用海藻類,它含有豐富的碘(能控制新陳代謝、有助骨骼及腦部發展),被稱為世界上最營養豐富的蔬菜,因為它有豐富的纖維、營養物、礦物並幫助消化。

海藻類更能減少脂肪的吸收、增進鐵質的水平 (海藻類含有豐富的維他命C及鐵質,幫助造血)及有效強健心臟。

海藻的食療作用古今中外也有記載,目前全球已知的有超過一萬個品種,單在英國已有 400 種海藻。海藻的碳水化合物及卡路里含量低,是控制體重的優良食物。而海藻的天然纖維含有褐藻膠 (alginate) 能抑制酶去消化脂肪,身體自然吸收更少脂肪。紐卡索大學去年的研究發現,就算只有少量的褐藻膠已能減少脂肪的吸收。啡色海藻的天然色素岩藻黃質 (fucoxanthin),更被指出能燃燒脂肪及減慢脂肪的形成。

海藻的其他作用包括它的豐富纖維可以控制膽固醇、多醣類 (polysaccharides) 可抗凝血,減少血凝塊的風險、鉀則可防止高血壓等。

好處多多,今日開始多吃海藻類吧。

涼拌海帶絲 Sichuan Seaweed in Garlic Sauce

材料 Ingredients:

1/2 塊乾海帶,浸水 1/2 raw seaweed, dried
適量紅蘿蔔 Some carrots
少許蒜茸 A clove of garlic
汁料 Sauce
1 湯匙黑醋 1 tablespoon of Chinese dark vinegar
1 茶匙麻油 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
一小撮鹽 Dash of salt
1/2 茶匙糖 1/2 teaspoon of sugar

做法 Method:

1. 把紅蘿蔔切絲,備用。
Thinly slice the cucumbers and carrots, set aside.

2. 準備海帶絲. 這個步驟需約1小時,應提前做好。把海帶原塊浸水。乾的海帶面上滿是海鹽,所以要把鹽洗乾淨。每15分鐘換一次水。重復約4-5次便成。
Prepare the seaweed. This will take an hour or so, so prepare I’m advance. Soak the seaweed in a large bowl of water. The dried seaweed is covered in sea salt, which needs to be rinsed off. Change the water every 15 minutes and do this until seaweed is clean. Repeat about 4-5 times.

3. 把浸好的海帶切絲。冷藏備用。
Thinly slice the seaweed. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

4. 上菜前15分鐘把所有材料拌勻。因應個人口味調教糖和黑醋的分量,即成。
To serve, combine all of the ingredients in a medium bowl. Mix well. Adjust the amount of vinegar and sugar according to your taste.

海帶的好處 Reasons to Eat More Seaweeds

海帶,又名昆布,是來自海裡的植物。海帶營養豐富,含海帶素、岩藻多糖等成分,曬乾後可作為食物,常用於中國菜、日本料理和朝鮮料理。

除了營養豐富,常吃海帶,還有以下好處:

  1. 減肥 - 海帶含有大量的膳食纖維,可以增加肥胖者的飽腹感,而且海帶脂肪含量非常低,熱量少,自然是減肥中人的恩物。
  1. 延緩衰老 - 海帶富含鈣元素與碘元素,有助於甲狀腺素合成。這兩種元素搭配,不僅能美容,還有延緩衰老的作用。
  1. 補鈣 -海帶含有豐富的鈣,可補充人體所需要的鈣質。
  1. 降血壓 -海帶氨酸、鉀鹽及鈣元素,可降低人體對膽固醇的吸收,降低血壓。
  1. 降脂 - 海帶含有大量的不飽和脂肪酸和食物纖維,能清除附著在血管壁上的膽固醇。
  1. 提高免疫力 - 海帶能促進細胞免疫。除海帶之外,還有很多食物都有類似功效,香菇就是其中之一。

Seaweed is actually the plant in the sea.  It is nutritious, containing fucoidan and other ingredients.  It is commonly used in Chinese cuisine, Japanese and Korean cuisine.

Except nutritious, seaweed also has the following six benefits:

  1. Lose weight – it contains large amounts of dietary fiber, can increase the satiety.   It also very low in fat and calories, therefore it is the perfect ingredient for people who would like to lose weight.
  1. Anti-aging – it is rich in calcium and iodine, helps to create the thyroid hormone.  Combine these two types of element, not only good for your skin, as well as the anti-aging effect.
  1. Rich in Calcium – it is also a supplement to the body needs.
  1. Reduce blood pressure – Seaweed acid, potassium and calcium, may reduce the absorption of cholesterol, can lower the blood pressure effectively.
  1. Lower the fat - it contains large amounts of unsaturated fatty acids and dietary fibre, able to remove cholesterol which attached to the vessel wall.
  1. Improve immunity - it can improve cell-mediated immunity.  Except kelp, there are a lot of food has a similar effect, shiitake is one of them.
